“They say that every human being should plant a tree” and there is a reason why these proverbs exist. While it may seem like a small action, planting a tree actually has a huge impact on the world we live in. With accelerated population growth today, we need to be more aware of our environment than ever.

At www.mettoanuovo.it, we are working hard to be as sustainable as possible with our refurbished products and thanks to our efforts we are already a carbon-negative company .

A small but significant gesture

To offset our CO2 emissions and also help re-grow wildlife habitats, planting a tree was the best thing we could do. And involving our customers in the process is the basis of our company mission.

We consider it our responsibility to lead by example and put words into practice so that the next generations will inherit a better world.

Why plant a tree?

To make this happen, we've partnered with Tree-Nation, an organization dedicated to fighting climate change and reforesting the world.

Climate change is caused by greenhouse gas emissions, of which CO2 is by far the most responsible. Did you know that deforestation is responsible for 17% of these CO2 emissions?

Trees play a key role in our ecosystems and cutting them down has devastating effects. Deforestation not only affects our flora and fauna, but also affects humans.
Pollution, species extinction, floods, desertification, food shortages, poverty and migration are the problems that deforestation brings with it. Fortunately, we can change that.

Tree-Nation collects and coordinates reforestation efforts around the world in a single platform, empowering every citizen, business and planter to take action.

Tree-Nation is home to 255 planting projects from 33 different countries. They use Tree-Nation to share their stories with you and get help on their journey to reforest the world.

How does it work?

So you've made a purchase or are thinking of making a purchase at our store, great! After placing your order, you will first receive a confirmation email from us about your order, with a receipt for your purchase. You will also receive a separate email with the title “www.mettoanuovo.it offered you a tree on Tree-Nation”.
